I have some blogging to get caught up on, so here goes!Sadie came into the Greensboro studio for her One Year Portrait session and Cake Smash. Her Mom made this sweet outit for her First Birthday as well as the banner we used during the Cake Smash. Sadie is definitely a girly girl and was full of herself during the session as well as full of smiles. She did not want to SIT on anything, but was very happy to STAND on every prop that we used! As you can tell from the images, Sadie was in charge of the session! She had a blast cramming as much cake as possible into her mouth. I think she was afraid that we might not give her the whole cake! I love the sugar drool rolling down her chest during the cake smash! ...
I know the weather is trying to turn warm here, but I couldn't help but share these images from our first snow here in Greensboro. Two beautiful, pregnant women were brave enough to venture out in the glistening snow for some magnificent maternity pictures. I couldn't wait to use this white fur-trimmed cape that was perfect for the winter scene. Plus, it kept them warm since it was fleece lined! Thanks Vanessa and Jetaunn for being so adventurous!
It feels like it was just yesterday that I photographed David as a newborn. But here he is in the studio for his One Year/Cake Smash Session. David was on our Baby Plan, so we photographed lots of great milestone images of him during his first year. It is such an honor to be able to document their first year and see them grow from this tiny newborn to a smiley one year old! The One Year/Cake Smash session is always one of my favorites, as well as a favorite of the parents too. David loved his cake most of the time, and like most one year olds figured out how to make a mess with it! ...
